Something Sweet and Savory for the Holidays!

This recipe doesn't have to be used with our something mold... but let's face it:

Tasty treats that make you smile before you eat them? What could be better!?

This recipe appears in the Something book and was submitted by my sister. So, I have to admit, I might be a little biased. ;)

Peanut Butter Pretzel

1/2 cup creamy peanut butter

1/4 cup plus 1 tablespoon powdered sugar

1 tablespoon unsalted butter, room temperature

1 cup crushed pretzels

6 ounces chocolate, melted


Stir together peanut butter, butter, and powdered sugar. Add pretzels and stir to combine.


Press mixture into mold about 3/4 of the way to the top and freeze for 30 minutes or until firm. Remove from freezer and pour melted chocolate into the mold and set in the refrigerator for 5 minutes.


Carefully remove from the mold when the mixture is still very cold. Roll any extra mixture into 1 inch balls and freeze for 20 minutes before dipping in melted chocolate.
