"Something to Help You Relax"

After a (potentially stressful) holiday season, there is no better way to unwind and get out of the cold than with a nice hot bath. Here's a little Something special (haha get it?) to add to your detox routine to give you an extra dose of #selfcare. Make sure to check out our Something soap recipes too!!

Homemade Bath Bomb

1 cup citric acid

2 cups baking soda

1 - 1/2 cup Epsom salts

2 - 4 tablespoons of water essential oil and coloring (optional)

In a large bowl, mix together the dry ingredients. With one hand, stir dry mix constantly. With others, sprinkle in the water until the mixture just clumps together. Add just enough water so that the mix holds together when you squeeze it in your hands but be careful not to add too much (if it starts to fizz you have added too much).

Add scent and color if desired (coconut oil is a great option).

Pack bath bomb mix into mold very firmly in layers to make sure it is firmly packed.

Let the bath bomb dry overnight.
